Alunperin ensimmäisen höyrypesurini ostoon lähti siitä, että halusin tehdä itse kuiturastoja. Kokeilin kahta halpismerkkiä ennen kuin päädyin Kärcheriin malliin nimeltä SC952.
Toki piti "keksiä" höyrypuhdistimen käyttöön ja ostoon muukin syy kuin rastojen teko, ja päätin kokeilla sitä ikkunoiden ja parvekelasien puhdistuksessa. Tulos oli paljon parempi kuin esim. puhdistusaineilla ja ikkunalastalla! Myöhemmin kokeilin pesuria myös kylpyhuoneen kaakelien välien puhdistukseen.

Originally, I bought my first steam cleaner, that I wanted to make my own synthetic dread falls. I tried two cheap brands before I ended up with Kärcher model called the SC952.
Of course, I had to "work out" some other use too for steam cleaner than to make dreads, and I decided to try it out with windows and balcony glass cleaning. The result was a much more better than with window cleaner chemicals! Later, I tried the cleaner to clean the gaps between the bathroom tiles.
Huomasin kuitenkin pienen "vian" siinä. Kaakeleiden puhdistus oli aikaavievää hommaa, vaikka puhdistus olikin tehokasta. Pientä vesisäiliötä piti kylpyhuoneen puhdistuksen aikana täyttää yli viisi kertaa vaikkei kylppärini olekaan kovin iso. Olisi myös kiva puhdistaa tehokkaammaalla laitteella esim. kylppärin seinät liitettävillä lisälaitteilla. Valitettavasti tuohon malliin ei saa tilattua edes valmistajalta lisäsuuttimia joten oli uuden pesurin oston paikka. Vanhan luovutin vanhemmilleni.
Uudelle toivomukseni oli melko edullinen hinta, pieni paine-ominaisuus pesurissa, isompi säiliö, lisäosat ja tarvittaessa erikseen ostettavat lisäosat.

However, I noticed a little "flaw" in it. Tile cleaning was time-consuming job, even if the treatment was effective. I had to fill that small water container all over again, more than five times during the cleaning, even though my bathroom is not very big. The bathroom would also be nice to be cleaned with more powerful device and such as the bathroom walls by attaching additional devices. Unfortunately, in that model it's not possible to order add-ons from the manufacturer, so it was the time to buy a new steam cleaner. I gave my old one to my parents.
My requests for new one were basically: relatively low price, small pressure cleaning-feature, bigger water container, and if necessary; separately purchased add-ons.
Päädyin taas Kärcheriin, nimeltään SC1052.
Mallissa on pieni, max. 2,5barin paine ja useita lisäosia pakkauksessa mukana. Vesisäiliö on tässä 0,8L, kun edellisessä mallissani oli 0,25L. Hintaeroa näillä on n. 100 euroa.
Loppusanat: Pienempi malli, SC952 on toki hyvä pienen kodin puhdistustarpeisiin, mutta pieni vesisäiliö tuottaa ongelmia suurempien tilojen puhdistuksessa.

I ended up again with Kärcher, called the SC1052.
The model has small, max. 2.5 bar pressure- feature and a number of additional addons included in the kit. The water container in this is 0.8 L, in the previous model it was 0.25 L. The difference in price on these is about 100 euros.
Afterword: The smaller model SC952 is a good for little home cleaning needs, but a small water container can be troublesome in the larger spaces for cleaning.
